The Motor Performance and Multiscale Modelling (MPMM) research team aims at developing methods and models pertaining the multiscale analysis of human movement, focusing mainly on variables and concepts arising from the biomechanics and motor control theories.
This conceptual framework will allow the fundamental and applied investigation of the constraints’ influences on the moving subject. Constraints can be seen as internal or external to the subject in order to describe as closely as possible the subject-environment interaction.
