Marqueste Tanguy

Tanguy Marqueste is currently employed at the Institut des Sciences du Mouvement Etienne Jules Marey (UMR 7287 ISM-CNRS) at the University of Aix-Marseille. He has conducted research in neurophysiology and obtained a Master's degree then a PhD in Human Movement Sciences in 2003. He began teaching biotechnology in the late 1990s. He then undertook postdoctoral research at the Spinal Cord Research Centre at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada (2004), and at the Centre de résonance magnétique en biologie et médecine at the Université de la Méditerranée in Marseille (2005). 
His current research focuses on alterations to sensorimotor functions following neuromuscular injuries or diseases, and on using physical activity, drugs, or biomaterials to improve recovery. He directed a BSc and then an MSc in Adapted Physical Activity and Health from 2008 to 2024. Since 2022, he has been vice-president of CRES-PACA, and since April 2024, he has been the scientific director of the LabCom "OpenLab : Automotive Motion Lab" (Stellantis - AMU- CNRS).
