Adjustments and adaptations to different kinds of sudden or long-lasting constraints : Neurophysiological approach
The AdapJuste team is interested in the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying adjustments and adaptations to different kinds of sudden or long-lasting constraints. These constraints can have an external origin, such as forces and task requirements, or an internal origin, for instance fatigue and central or peripheral lesions. Our experiments are based on the choice of different populations and experimental conditions. We study variables at different time scales with help of non-invasive techniques (kinematics, dynamics, EMG, EEG). The goal of our research is to enrichen the comprehension of the different central and peripheral sensorimotor processes that permit humans to adjust and adapt to almost all circumstances.
